DAVE RETURNED FROM FLORIDA IN LATE 2023 -- HE WILL ALWAYS BE A PART OF BIPOLAR BEAR. HE FILLS IN OCCASIONALLY AT PRACTICE IF A GUITARIST CAN'T MAKE IT!!! NOTE - IN JULY OF 2024 - EVAD came back temporarily to complete the remaining 4 dates on the books for the year!!!!

Dave announced that he was moving to Florida to pursue some different life and career opportunities several months ago, privately to the band.
If you ask any of the other 6 folks in the band, they will tell you he is an incredibly gifted musician, who can shred the notes to any tune you put in front of him. He is amazingly humble for the gifts that he possesses. Dave is an even better and sweeter human being than he is a player, and he is an amazing player.
It was incredibly emotional for everyone as he ripped into his solo for Purple Rain as his last song as a member of the band. Ellen said she was fighting back tears. Richie gave him a huge hug before the song, and Rob the bass player had a hard time making it all the way through, dealing with the amazing sounds coming from Dave's guitar, contrasting with the sadness that moment was slipping away.
WE LOVE DAVE "EVAD" Gonazalez and as sad as we are to say goodbye to our guitar gunslinger, we are hopeful and thrilled that he pursues whatever it is that makes him happy!!!!
